Annual Teacher Appreciation Week

Since 1984, National Parent Teacher Organizations have designated one week in May as a special time to honor the individuals who lend their passion and skills to educating our children.  Events at the national, state and local levels celebrate the outstanding contributions teachers make.

It's Time to Thank a Teacher!

Let’s face it. This school year has been weird. But we’re getting through it, in part thanks to our nation’s amazing educators. Take a moment to #ThankATeacher during Teacher Appreciation Week!

The pandemic has ushered in a new way of teaching and learning. From in-person to virtual to a hybrid learning environment (some all in one school year!), our students have faced challenging, yet innovative times in their learning and development—and teachers have been at the heart of it all!

It's time to show them our love and appreciation so let’s give the teachers in our lives a special thanks for all that they do during Teacher Appreciation Week!
